I'm a Scot in New York, where everyone complains about the weather and pretty much everything else on a daily basis. But the weather's not so bad and they know it, which is why New York was the first to identify wind chill and the heat factor to create drama where otherwise there would be peace and contentment. The city runs on anxious energy that comes from drinking too much coffee and BOOM! the New York Minute is created because any other minute would be boring. I love it because everything in the city is just a little too much, including the men who are above-average, hot and ready to trot - actually they can be a lot too much. And of course never enough... Everything is big: their hearts, their appetites and apparently their other assets too, Bloody hell! Who would want to be anywhere else, except maybe somewhere that doesn't require an installment mortgage to buy a loaf of bread and bottle of soda?
What am I into? The city offers perpetual adventure and what excites me changes with each new connection. I've learned never to say never. I learn new tricks all the time and it's mainly good. So long as I stay true to the two foundational principles of consent and respect, for myself and for the people I hang with. Which isn't so hard because at heart New York is a friendly town, and everyone is looking for love. Lots of it.
